EmoteRoulette

Introduction

EmoteRoulette is a Russian roulette-style chat minigame.
It is started by mods and promotes chat participation by “rewarding” the winner with a short timeout.
Once a trigger message is announced, a random number will be chosen within the max amount, and then once the amount of triggers reaches that number, the last trigger’s user will “Win”.

Usage

There are no user commands.

Checking active Roulettes

Command: !roulettes
Example Response: @user, Active roulettes: Kappa (194/1000)
The fraction (194/1000) is (count so far/maximum count), but the game is very likely to end before it reaches the max.

Starting a new Roulette with 10 slots

Command: !roulette <trigger>
One in the next 10 of this trigger will be selected and explode.

Starting a new Roulette with a set number of slots

Command !roulette <number of slots> <trigger>
One in the next number of slots of this trigger will be selected and explode.

Stopping all active Roulettes

Command: !clearroulette or !clearroulettes

“Reward”

The “winner” of the Roulette will be given:

  • A 10 second timeout with the message: "Won" at roulette Kappa
  • A message in chat announcing they won.
