Updates

This page lists important updates to the AdManager.
Bugfix updates are excluded.

• carryover can now be disabled by manually setting it to a negative value.
  • Negative carryover values that occur naturally after a stream will NOT be affected.

• Added carryover function
  • Adtime over the quota at the end of a stream will be carried over to the next stream.
  • Helps admanager to be less aggressive at the start of streams.
  • Cannot be disabled at this time.
• Changed default grace period from 30min at the start of stream to 1hr.
  • Only affects new users.

• Every manual attempted ad now shows an output even if it did not run an ad.
  • Help manual editors know the bot is working as intended.

• Announces the seconds of ads it ran during the stream, once it goes offline.

• Channel’s grace period now drains over the course of the stream.
  • After the grace_dura period has ended, the quota will describe the correct number.
  • Drains based on the amount of adtime run, not real time.
    • ex: A grace_dura setting of 2 with hourly=180 will drain slowly until 360s of ads are run, then will be even.
