Deputies

Introduction

Deputies are undercover mini-moderators for your chat.
Moderators can promote trusted chat members and give them the ability to timeout other chatters for up to 10 minutes.

Chat VIPs are also automatically given Deputy permissions.

Check if you are a deputy

Command: !deputy

Check if a user is a deputy

Command: !deputy <name>

Moderators

Deputize a user for one stream

Command: !deputize <user>
This deputy will be automatically demoted once the stream ends.
Requires that the stream is currently online.

Deputize a user permanently

Command: !deputize+ <user>
This deputy will keep their powers until they or a mod undeputizes them.

Undeputize a deputy

Command: !undeputize <deputy>
This will remove a deputy’s powers.
Deputies can also use this on themself.
